In some cases, galvanized sheet is also known as galvanized iron. Steel sheets are produced and supplied with two cold and hot rolling methods. Hot-rolled sheets are usually “galvanized” after being produced in a special process. In other words, in the production process of galvanized sheets, specialists apply a thin layer of the metal element zinc (ZN) on the outer surface of the sheet. Galvanization or plating increases the resistance of steel sheets against possible rust and corrosion.
